Bound in black with blind-stamped borders and "BIJBEL" in gold print on the front cover. Features original gilt-edged pages all around, giving the book a warm, classic appearance.
This edition contains the complete Holy Scripture – Old and New Testament – according to the traditional Statenvertaling (States Translation), based on the decisions of the Synod of Dordrecht (1618–1619).
Measures 25 cm high and approx. 6 cm thick. A substantial, characterful family Bible from the interwar period.
The binding shows clear signs of use, and the spine is damaged with visible wear and detachment at the hinge. The interior is complete and stable with minor signs of age appropriate for a book over 90 years old.
