Large edition measuring 28 cm high and approximately 6 cm thick, bound in a black cover with classic blind stamping and gold print on the spine. An impressive size typical of early 20th-century church and wedding Bibles.
This copy was presented on February 13, 1908, at a wedding ceremony within the Nederlands Hervormde Gemeente in Rotterdam. The original wedding inscription is fully present, giving the book a distinct historical character.
Contains the complete Statenvertaling – Old and New Testaments – according to the Synod of Dordrecht (1618–1619). Printed in double columns with classic typography.
