Retro Chinese-Indonesian Restaurant Teacup with Lid – Golden House Papendrecht

Porcelain tea mug with lid from the Chinese-Indonesian restaurant Golden House in Papendrecht.

Executed in a classic yellow Chinese decor with medallions featuring traditional characters and lotus motifs. The rim is finished with a multi-colored geometric key pattern.

This mug is a typical example of Dutch Chinese restaurant crockery from the late 20th century and still bears the original restaurant printing on the bottom.
