Vintage crucifix with a Christ corpus, made of cast metal on a cross of brass profiles, presumably dating from the interwar period.

The Christ figure is made of a dark patinated metal alloy and shows an expressive, naturalistic depiction of Christ on the cross. The slender anatomy and simple design are characteristic of Catholic devotional art from the early 20th century.

The cross itself is constructed from brass profile bars, which gives the object a sleek and almost architectural appearance. At the top, there is a hanging eye, allowing the cross to be easily mounted on the wall.

Over the years, the metal has developed a beautiful warm patina that emphasizes the religious character and age of the object.
