Japanese Satsuma Teapot with Bamboo Handle – Hand-painted & Richly Gilded – 20cm
A characterful Japanese Satsuma-style teapot from the mid-20th century, richly decorated with gilded seigaiha patterns, fan-shaped cartouches, and hand-painted figures in a traditional landscape.
The warm red tones in the spout and handle accents combine beautifully with the soft ivory white and deep gold. The bamboo handle gives the piece a handcrafted look, making it both decorative and functional.
The pot features a porcelain tea filter insert and has a subtly restored bottom rim — neatly executed and barely visible when displayed.
A distinctly decorative piece that adds atmosphere to an interior with a fondness for Asian accents or eclectic collectibles.
