Japanese decorative pot in refined Satsuma style, hand-painted with a traditional figural scene in a mountain landscape.

Its rounded shape and double red handles give the object a powerful, balanced appearance. The soft pastel palette is enhanced by subtle gold accents along the rim and in the details of the kimonos.

The depiction shows figures under blossom trees with traditional architecture in the background, executed with visible brushwork. The gold is hand-applied and gives the whole a warm glow.

A compact yet distinctive object that stands out both individually and in combination with other Japanese pieces.
