Catholic Missal The Sunday Masses [1929] | Bruges
A beautifully well-worn Catholic missal from the interwar period, printed in 1929 by Desclée De Brouwer in Bruges.
This copy contains Sunday Masses with Latin texts and Dutch translation, richly adorned with classic religious illustrations. The ecclesiastical approval (imprimatur) from Mechelen and Leuven confirms the dating.
The binding is clearly used and shaped by time: the spine has come loose and the first quires are partly detached, which gives the book a distinct character. The interior is largely intact.
An atmospheric piece for lovers of religious printed matter, interwar history, or decorative books with a story.
Although its value is technically limited in this condition, we find its current state very charming and full of character. Please note that the price may not be in line with market value.
