€14,50
Complete two-volume edition of The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne, published in 1980 by Elsevier as part of the well-known blue Wonderreizen series.
The novel is divided into The Airshipwrecked and The Castaway. Both books are issued in the characteristic blue cloth bindings with extensive black decoration and gold lettering. The adventurous cover illustrations featuring a hot-air balloon, ships, and exotic landscapes give the books the classic appearance so characteristic of this Dutch Jules Verne series.
The story is included in full in this edition and illustrated with the original engravings. By keeping both parts together, the complete story is preserved.
