Very refined decorative porcelain plate from Limoges, executed in deep cobalt blue with rich hand-gilded details. The plate features a classical scene and is finished with multiple gold borders and a scalloped edge.

Notably, the visible brushstrokes in the drawing indicate manual finishing (rehausse main). This gives the piece character and authenticity, but also makes it suitable only as a decorative object.

The plate comes with a matching stand made of soft metal (brass-coloured) and is ideal for display in a curio cabinet, on a dresser, or as part of a classical wall arrangement.
