A beautiful two-volume interbellum book set of the historical novel "And the Sun Went Down" by Marguerite Steen.

This Dutch edition from the first half of the 20th century was published by Zuid-Hollandsche Uitgevers Maatschappij (The Hague) and is richly illustrated by the famous illustrator Anton Pieck. His recognizable drawing style gives the book a special artistic and collectible appeal.
