Crucifix Hanger with Wooden Inlay and Golgotha – c. 1940–1960 – 13 cm

Vintage crucifix pendant with a black inlaid cross and silver-colored frame, dating from approximately 1940–1960.

The cross combines a wooden inlay with a cast corpus in silver-colored metal. Above the head is an INRI band and a halo, and at the bottom is the traditional Golgotha symbol with a skull and crossed bones.

The combination of dark wood and cool metal creates a strong contrast and a sober, powerful appearance. With a size of 13 cm, this piece is larger than most wearable crosses, making it suitable as both a pendant and a wall object.
