This edition contains the New Testament according to the Statenvertaling (States Translation), supplemented with the Book of Psalms and hymns as used within the Dutch Reformed Church.

Bound in a dark brown leather cover with the original clasp and gilt edges. The Bible is remarkably compact but exceptionally thick (6 cm), giving the book a powerful and monumental character.

An authentic piece of Dutch Protestant heritage, printed in the 19th century and preserved in above-average condition.
