Three original Dutch editions from the series William Shakespeare's Plays, translated by Dr. L.A.J. Burgersdijk and published by A.W. Sijthoff in Leiden around 1900.

The booklets have paper covers with characteristic green border printing and contain beautiful full-page illustrations.
Several volumes contain a decorative ex libris "Piet Gardien".
Condition: fragile.
Othello has a loose back cover and clear spine damage. The other volumes show wear and discolouration consistent with age.
