An elegant set of hand-carved wooden birds with outstretched wings and openwork composition.

The sculptures are crafted from dark flamed tropical hardwood and display a strong, stylized design language reminiscent of mid-century design. The combination of clean lines, rhythmic wing distribution, and open structures gives the whole a light yet powerful appearance.

This set was presumably made in Indonesia in the 1970s for the European market. It is artisanal woodcarving with clear attention to form and balance.

The birds form a harmonious whole, but can also be placed separately.

Please note: a crack is visible at one wingtip. The part is still attached but is fragile.
