A beautifully produced reprint of ’s-Gravenhage in Onzen Tijd (The Hague in Our Time) by Johan Gram, originally published in 1893 and reissued in 1968 by the Europese Bibliotheek in Zaltbommel.

This richly illustrated work offers a late 19th-century perspective on The Hague and Scheveningen. The chapters cover, among other things, the Binnenhof, Noordeinde Palace, the Scheveningse Bosjes, the Jewish quarter, Huis ten Bosch, and city life in all its facets. The book contains 80 illustrations and three photo-chromo reproductions after artists such as Bosboom, Israëls, Weissenbruch, and Rochussen—names closely associated with the Hague School.

The binding is classic: green linen cover with gold lettering on the front board and spine, complete with the original dust jacket. The interior is in exceptionally neat condition; the dust jacket shows discoloration but has protected the book excellently.
