Kurz & Co Tiel Vases - Interwar - Brass - Model 1375 - Set of 2 - 29 cm
Set of two original vases by Kurz & Co from Tiel, Netherlands.
These slender vases are made of dark patinated brass and date from the interwar period (c. 1920–1940). Both pieces are marked on the underside with the round C & K logo and the inscription “TIEL HOLLAND” with model number 1375.
The shape is classic and harmoniously constructed: a conical body, subtle transitional rings, a decorative relief band with oval motifs, and a weighted base with a beaded edge. The vases have a stately, understated appearance that fits well in both classical and eclectic interiors.
These are industrially manufactured works of good quality, with original dark patina. No later repainting.
Condition: light signs of use consistent with age, including small scratches and some subtle dents. No structural damage.
