Catholic Crucifix Pendant – Brass & Corpus – c. 1900
Antique Catholic crucifix pendant from the early 20th century.
The cross is made of brass with a dark patina and features a detailed figure of Christ. Above the corpus is the classic INRI inscription, referring to the Latin text "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum".
The pendant has decorative trefoil ends and a clearly visible historic patina consistent with its age. The figure of Christ is attached to the cross with small rivets, a production technique commonly used for religious devotional objects around 1900.
This type of cross was often worn on a chain, used as a rosary cross, or as a personal devotional object.
An authentic religious object with a characteristic look and historical charm.
