A beautiful Japanese Satsuma wall plate with distinctive Moriage relief, hand-painted decoration, and generous gold accents. The plate depicts a classic scene of a central, serene female figure surrounded by five wise men or guardians – a typical theme within Showa period Satsuma decoration.

The piece is characterized by finely raised relief (Moriage), intense colors, and hand-applied gold lines.
