Set of five vintage Japanese cup and saucer combinations with iridescent mother-of-pearl sheen and dragon decor.

The porcelain has a strong luster finish that subtly changes color when moved in the light. The gold-colored rims and handles provide contrast to the soft white and the fine oriental line drawings of dragons and clouds.

The design is sleek and modern, without relief, which distinguishes this set from older dragonware executions. The whole looks refined and fits both in a Japan-inspired interior and in a modern setting.
