Set of two hand-painted Delft Polychrome lidded vases from the mid-20th century.

Executed in classic polychrome decoration with rich floral motifs in cobalt blue, ochre, green and manganese brown. The vases have a ribbed shape and feature figural animal finials on the lids.

The tin glaze shows natural crazing on the underside, consistent with its age and technique. The large vase is in very good vintage condition. The smaller vase has some chips on the lid, rim and base, visible in the photos.

A characterful set with strong presence – typical Dutch craftsmanship from the Delft tradition.
