Daalderop RIO Tiel Art Deco Vase – Interwar period – 29.5 cm – Netherlands
Art Deco vase by Daalderop (RIO – Tiel – Holland), produced in the interwar period.
The vase has a classic baluster shape with a decorative band of pressed oval motifs and subtle dot accents. The warm dark brown patina gives the piece a serene, understated look typical of Dutch design from the 1930s.
The base is weighted, providing a stable foundation. The vase is marked on the underside with Daalderop's RIO stamp, Tiel.
Condition: some small dents are visible, and the connection between the body and the base appears to have been repaired in the past. This has been factored into the pricing.
A characterful interwar piece that fits well within an Art Deco interior or a sober, minimalist setting.
