Russian Bible - Synodal Translation - c. 1970

A special find within our collection: a Russian-language Bible in the classic Synodal translation.

This compact edition contains both the Old and New Testament and is bound in a dark green cover. Inside are maps of Palestine and the Mediterranean region, printed in a sober black-and-white style.

This copy presumably dates from the second half of the 20th century and is printed according to the Synodal standard model that has been in use within the Russian Orthodox tradition since the 19th century.

An understated, historically charged book — fitting for a study, library, or as a spiritual object in an interior.

Although this book may not be rare, it is currently unique in our collection in terms of origin and language. Please note that the price may not be market-conform.
