Pewter pitchers with hinged lid (Set of 2) | Decorative European pewter | 25 & 14.5 cm

A beautiful set of two classic pewter pouring jugs with hinged lids. The jugs feature a traditional European design inspired by historical beer and wine flagons and form a decorative ensemble together.

Both pieces are crafted from pewter and bear different manufacturer's marks on the base, indicating that they are two separately produced jugs that match each other perfectly in style. The hinged lids are functional and finished with characteristic knob-shaped thumb pieces.

The set has a beautiful, muted pewter patina with normal signs of wear consistent with its age. The large jug shows a small imperfection or old repair at the hinge, visible in the photos.

An atmospheric set for a rustic, historical, or classic interior and a lovely addition for collectors of European pewter.
