A large illustrated German book about naval warfare during the First World War, published around 1915 by Der Gelbe Verlag in Dachau near Munich.

Der See-Krieg is the second volume in the Unser Krieg series and covers the battles of the German fleet during the first years of the First World War. The book features an introduction by former naval officer L. Persius and is richly illustrated with approximately 160 historical black-and-white photographs.

In addition to portraits of naval officers, the book includes photographs of warships, U-boats, damaged and sunken vessels, crews, and various maritime operations. Printed maps depict, among others, the naval battles of Heligoland and the Falkland Islands. Tables and chronological overviews document ships, losses, and events from the naval conflict.

The original ochre-yellow cover is finished with a wide illustrated maritime border and a central emblem featuring the German Imperial naval flag. The back cover displays the DGV publisher's vignette of Der Gelbe Verlag.

An authentic German wartime publication with a strong photographic character and interesting documentation of the maritime history of the First World War.
