Ziggy's Collection

Antique English pince-nez spectacles with original leather case from F. Sing & Co, opticians in Weston-Super-Mare and Bridgewater.

These round pince-nez glasses date from circa 1900 and are crafted from fine metal with thin frames and round lenses. The model was widely worn in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and is characteristic of the Edwardian period.

The original leather sliding case still bears the gold-embossed stamp of the English optician and shows authentic signs of wear consistent with its age.
