Catholic Missal Sunday Masses - Desclée De Brouwer & Cie, Bruges 1929
Ziggy's Collection
A beautifully weathered Catholic missal from the interwar period, printed in 1929 by Desclée De Brouwer in Bruges.
This copy contains the Sunday masses with Latin texts and Dutch translations, richly illustrated with classic religious imagery. The ecclesiastical approval (imprimatur) from Mechelen and Leuven confirms the dating.
The binding is clearly used and shaped by time: the spine has come loose and the first sections are partially detached, which gives the book a distinct character. Interior largely intact.
An atmospheric piece for lovers of religious printed matter, interwar history, or decorative books with a story.
Although the value is technically limited in this condition, we find the current state very charming and full of character. Please note that the price may not be market-conform.
