Bible Stories (New Testament) - Rev. Fred. W. Rappold - Meulenhoff Amsterdam 1925

Original 1925 edition of Vertellingen uit den Bijbel – Uit het Nieuwe Testament (Tales from the Bible – From the New Testament) by Rev. Fred. W. Rappold, published by Meulenhoff in Amsterdam.

This over 100-year-old edition is bound in cloth with its original paper dust jacket. The book contains multiple full-page color illustrations and black-and-white prints by Willem Hardenberg, characteristic of the 1920s style.

The typography, decorative initials, and classical spelling ("den Bijbel") give the book a distinct interwar character.

The book is in good condition for its age. The binding is firm, the book block is complete, and the illustrations are bright. There is normal age-related discoloration and light foxing, appropriate for a 1925 edition.

A representative antique book with a strong visual appeal.
