A characterful vintage metal figurine of Bastet, designed as the stately seated cat so recognizable within the ancient Egyptian sculptural tradition. The elongated posture, large upright ears, and richly detailed jewelry give the compact figurine a strikingly elegant appearance.

The dark metal finish is accentuated by turquoise-green decorations on the ears, forehead, wide collar, and the Egyptian-style ornament on the chest. Gold-colored details around the eyes and ears provide extra contrast.

The design corresponds to the Egyptian Cat from The Franklin Mint's Curio Cabinet Cats Collection from the 1980s. The original oval sticker with the text "Crafted in Taiwan" is still present on the bottom.
