Rosary with Wooden Beads and Metal Crucifix with Inlay ca. 1920–1950
$46.000,00
Classic rosary from the first half of the 20th century, made with dark patinated wooden beads and a characteristic metal cross with an inlaid core.
The beads show natural wear and variation, making the piece's use and age visible. The cross is constructed from a metal frame with an inlaid core, a design common in rosaries from the transitional period between traditionally and industrially manufactured devotional objects.
The corpus is attached with rivets and has developed a distinct patina. The medal features the familiar iconography of the Miraculous Medal, albeit in a simpler execution with slight wear.
An honest and lived-in religious object that fits well within an interior with character.
