Royal Ivory - John Maddock & Sons, England | Minerva oval serving dishes | 21 cm
Set of two elegant English bowls by Royal Ivory, produced by John Maddock & Sons in the interwar period.
The bowls have a refined, slightly undulating shape and are decorated with a classic pattern in blue, red, and green, finished with a subtle gold rim. The decor displays a clear transitional style between Edwardian elegance and early Art Deco influences, giving them a timeless character.
Made of fine English earthenware, known for its durability and warm appearance. The back bears the original manufacturer's mark and registration number, which supports the dating to around the 1920s.
The set is in neat vintage condition with light signs of wear consistent with its age. The decoration is largely well-preserved, with minor wear to the gold rim here and there.
Suitable both as functional serving bowls and as decorative pieces in a classic or eclectic interior.
