1961 Brepols Daily Missal in Original Leather Case | Gold-Edged | Luxury Catholic Missal
A beautifully luxurious Brepols Daily Missal from the early 1960s.
This Dutch Catholic missal is bound in a fine leather binding with gold stamping, gilt edges, and comes in its original zippered case. Inside are multiple ribbon markers, a beautiful color illustration, and marbled endpapers.
The missal is the fourth expanded edition and was updated according to the ecclesiastical decree of July 26, 1960. As such, this book serves as a fine document from the period just before the major liturgical changes of the Second Vatican Council.
The book is in neat, used condition with normal signs of wear on the leather case. The interior is complete and well-kept. There is a property inscription and a loose insert at the front.
A beautiful collector's item for enthusiasts of religious books, Catholic liturgy, or beautifully crafted vintage book bindings.
