Petrus Regout & Co Maastricht Canton Plate | Dutch Transferware | c. 1895-1915 | Ø 20.5 cm

Antique earthenware plate by Petrus Regout & Co from Maastricht, executed in the popular Canton pattern. The decor is inspired by classic Chinese export porcelain and features a refined scene with a pavilion, figures, flowering trees, and graceful floral motifs in red, light blue, and gold.

The plate was produced using transfer printing and finished with hand-applied color and gold accents, a characteristic technique from the late 19th and early 20th century. The original Petrus Regout & Co Maastricht factory stamp is still clearly visible on the back.

The plate is in good antique condition with light signs of wear consistent with its age and is a beautiful addition for collectors of Maastricht earthenware, transferware, or historical tableware.
