The New Testament 1966 Jerusalem Bible – Vintage French Bible

French-language edition of the New Testament from 1966, based on the well-known Bible de Jérusalem translation.

This compact edition contains the four gospels, Acts, epistles, and the Revelation of John. The edition was produced by Les Éditions du Cerf in Paris and is a fine example of the accessible bibles that were widely distributed in the 1960s.

The cover, featuring a religious illustration and green tones, gives the book a strong visual appeal. Its compact size makes it a typical utilitarian book of that era.

Inside, there are signs of wear consistent with its age and use. A flower was once preserved between the pages.

An atmospheric religious object from the 1960s, suitable as a decorative piece or for collectors of old bibles.
