Glass Oil or Vinegar Cruet with Stopper | Circa 1930-1960
Small vintage table carafe made of clear glass, featuring a rich geometric pattern of diamonds, fan shapes, and facets. The round body transitions into a narrow neck with a pouring spout and a gracefully curved handle. A tall faceted glass stopper completes the design.
This type of small carafe, also known as a cruet, was traditionally used at the table for serving oil, vinegar, and other liquid condiments. Its compact size and distinct glass decoration make this piece an attractive decorative item, even without a functional use.
The carafe has visible damage. The lower part of the glass stopper has broken off and remains inside the neck. Additionally, there is a small chip on the top of the stopper. The object is therefore sold in the condition as shown.
