Extract from the Community Missal - Vintage French Missal - Abbé Michonneau 1968

French-language Catholic missal from 1968, compiled by Abbé Georges Michonneau and a team of pastors. This Extrait du Missel Communautaire, Manuel des Paroisses was compiled for use within the parish and constitutes an interesting document from a period when the Catholic liturgy was undergoing significant change.

The substantial book contains over 900 pages, including the order of the Mass, prayers, chants, liturgical texts, and Stations of the Cross. Latin passages appear alongside French translations, and various sections feature characteristic red-and-black illustrations and typography.

Published in Paris and printed by Imprimeries Oberthur in Rennes in May 1968. Bound in a burgundy faux-leather cover with blind-stamped decoration.

An authentic vintage devotional book with clear signs of age, including yellowing and localized foxing of the paper, wear to the cover, and damage at the top of the spine.
