Dutch Pocket Bible with Psalms & Musical Notation | Black Case

Compact Dutch pocket Bible in a black protective case, designed for easy carrying and frequent use. Its small size and clear signs of wear give the book a strong personal character.

The contents include the New Testament and a separate section containing the Psalms. Several of the Psalms include printed musical notation, a special detail that highlights the book's use for both personal Bible reading and the singing of Psalms.

This copy has clearly been used intensively. The paper has discolored over the years, several pages have damage, and the binding has come loose in multiple places. Furthermore, an old handwritten name is inscribed in the front. Despite heavy use, the black protective case has kept the book together and underscores its character as a personal Bible that was truly carried and read.

An atmospheric religious artifact with visible signs of age, interesting for collectors of old Dutch Bibles, church books, and religious devotional items.
