Characterful vintage rosary from the first half of the 20th century, crafted with dark brown glass beads that have a warm, subtly lighter glow.
The beads give the piece a richer appearance and combine beautifully with the aged metal links and the crucifix in a warm brown tone. The crucifix is made of early plastic and features a metal corpus with a distinct patina, consistent with its age.
The central medallion depicts a Marian apparition with a kneeling figure in a grotto-like setting, strongly reminiscent of the well-known Lourdes devotion.
An authentic piece with a tranquil, weathered look and just a bit more depth due to the combination of materials.
