Original vintage sake set from the Japanese brand Gekkeikan, executed in bright white porcelain with cobalt blue laurel decoration, Japanese characters, and fine gold-colored rims.

The set consists of a 13 cm tall sake carafe and four matching footed cups. The carafe and cups feature the brand name 月桂冠, Gekkeikan, combined with the text “Finest Sake Gekkeikan.” The blue laurel branches refer to the name Gekkeikan, which is derived from the laurel wreath.

The carafe is marked “Made in Japan” on the bottom, and the cups also bear a Japanese origin mark. The complete five-piece set is well-preserved and serves as a characteristic example of Japanese sake ware from the second half of the 20th century.

Suitable for serving sake in the traditional way, but also an attractive collector’s item for enthusiasts of Japanese porcelain, vintage barware, and Japanese food culture.
