NBV Bible with Rembrandt's Work (2005) – Luxury Edition with Slipcase – 26cm

Deluxe edition of the New Bible Translation (NBV) combined with full-page reproductions of biblical works by Rembrandt.

This edition was published in 2005 by the Netherlands Bible Society in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum. The Bible is bound in black linen with gold lettering and comes in its original protective slipcase.

The book is generous in size (26 cm high and 7 cm thick) and contains high-quality full-color reproductions of Rembrandt's paintings, each placed next to the corresponding Bible text. The combination of modern translation and classic art makes this a remarkably representative copy.

Equipped with two ribbon markers (black and gold) and printed on high-quality heavy paper.

A beautifully designed art Bible that has a strong presence, both in content and visually, on a coffee table or bookshelf.
