St. Anthony Figurine on Ornate Base - Metal Devotional Object

A small and characterful statuette of Saint Anthony of Padua, executed in cast metal and set on a richly decorated base.

The figure depicts the saint in a traditional Franciscan habit, holding the infant Jesus. The base is executed in a distinct Baroque style with ornate decorations and religious symbolism, including a cross and a chalice. The name “S. Antoine” is inscribed on the base of the statue, indicating a French origin or market.

The combination of the austere figure and the richly detailed base gives the piece a strong visual contrast that fits well within a collection of religious objects or as an individual decorative piece.

The object shows clear signs of use and damage, including damage to the child’s head and wear on the base, which causes it to stand slightly crooked. This adds to the weathered character of the piece.

An authentic small devotional object with a clear presence and history.
