Central European Catholic Crucifix with Metal Corpus | Wooden Wall Cross | c. 1900

Antique Catholic wall crucifix with a beautifully crafted metal corpus of Christ on a solid wooden cross with gold-colored accents. The cross features traditional Catholic symbolism, including the halo behind Christ, the INRI plaque, and the skull and crossbones at the foot of the cross.

The combination of dark wood, warm gold-colored details, and the beautifully cast corpus gives this crucifix a characterful appearance typical of religious art from Central Europe around the turn of the twentieth century.

The cross is in neat antique condition with signs of wear consistent with its age. An atmospheric object for collectors of religious art or as a decorative historical wall piece.
