An authentic Solingen pocket knife from the interwar period, manufactured by Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn - an established name within the German knife industry.

The tang bears the classic Herder cross logo with “F. HERDER A. SN - SOLINGEN”. In addition, the knife bears the model designation “CONSTANT”, accompanied by three spades as a trademark.

The knife is made of traditional carbon steel, which is visible in the natural patina on the blade. The handle consists of metal scales with brass liners and a classic rivet construction.

This is an honestly used specimen with signs of age appropriate for a piece approximately 80–100 years old. Mechanically solid and not modernized.

A characterful collector's item from the Solingen tradition, suitable for enthusiasts of early 20th-century European pocket knives.
