Japanese Geisha Tea Set – 2 Teapots – 4 Cups & Saucers – Made in Japan approx. 1950
$156.00
Vintage Japanese tea set from circa 1940-1950, made of thin porcelain with colorful geisha and landscape decoration.
The set consists of two teapots (18 cm and 12 cm), four cups with matching saucers, and a milk jug. The porcelain is strikingly thin, typical of Japanese export tableware from the mid-20th century. The warm reddish-brown trim contrasts beautifully with the refined decoration of temples, bridges, flowers, and traditional figures.
The smaller pot features a bamboo handle, a detail that gives the piece extra character. Marked on the bottom with "Made in Japan" and Japanese characters.
An atmospheric vintage set with a strong mid-century look, both decorative and functional.
