The Little Match Girl - Vintage Postcard - Unused

Atmospheric illustrated postcard based on the famous story “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Andersen.

The card depicts a subdued and touching scene of the girl sitting against a wall with her basket of matches. The warm, soft color tones and simple yet expressive line work give the illustration an almost storybook quality, as if it came straight out of an old children's book.

This card has never been sent and is in neat vintage condition with slight signs of age. Due to the combination of literary theme and illustrative quality, this is a piece that appeals to both collectors and enthusiasts of old prints.

Beautiful as a collector's item, but also very suitable for framing.
